ePattern - Lace Crochet Scrunchy

Learn to crochet a classic full ruffly scrunchy updated with a touch of lace. Use a cream lace for a vintage feel, or a darker lace edging for a modern version. This pattern works in various weights of yarn - fingering weight gives a less full scrunchie, while sport/DK enhances the ruffles. I've used organic cotton for most of the samples here - but feel free to try out other natural yarns e.g. linen, bamboo, wool etc.

Small amount lace weight yarn for edging
4.00mm crochet hook
Hair elastic band (5mm diameter unstretched)
Yarn needle
