My story : slow crafted goods as a form of love

Hi, I’m Eileen, a crocheter, maker, and mother. I started byiroiro when my baby was born, out of a simple wish to make something gentle for her everyday needs. 

Unable to easily find certified organic washcloths, and not wanting to use polyester, I sourced for soft, organic, pure cotton yarn and made her first washcloths and reusable cotton rounds. She’s been using them ever since.

Today, byiroiro has grown to include pieces for the home, still guided by the same love for making and a love for natural or recycled fibers.
